SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team concludes the road portion of its 2022–23 schedule this weekend with a pair of games along the Highway 99 corridor. The action begins Thursday (Feb. 16) at Stanislaus State, where the Otters will try to complete a season sweep of the Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. as the opener of doubleheader action with the Otter men.

The last time these teams met was a tour de force performance by Otters, scored 90 points in a contest for the first time since November of 2013 with a 93–63 win Jan. 21 in The Kelp Bed. The Otter offense fired on all cylinders, putting together a season-best 42–point first half, then surpassing that with a 51–point second half en route to their first CCAA victory of 2023. Amelia Smith, Jordan Beaumont and Gabby Kime each claimed career highs with 21, 17 and 14 points respectively. Makayla Rose led Stanislaus with 19 points.
