SEASIDE, Calif — Thursday's (Feb. 10) scheduled men's basketball game between N0. 10 ranked Chico State and Cal State Monterey Bay has been canceled due to COVID protocols on the Chico campus. The game will not be made up.

The owmen's game at Chico is still on for Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Acker Gym.

The Otters were looking to complete their first sweep of the perennial power since the 2008–09 season. CSUMB beat (then) No. 7 Chico 64–61 in The Kelp Bed on Jan. 22.

At 10–3 in conference play, the Otters and Wildcats currently are part of a 3–way tie for second place in the CCAA with Cal State San Marcos. No. 3 ranked Cal State San Bernardino holds a 1–game lead with a 12–2 conference record.

CSUMB's lone game this week will be in Turlock Saturday against surging Stanislaus State.
