Women’s Basketball Notebook: Otters Host Lincoln For Final Nonconference Game

CSUMB is 3–1 in nonconfernce action so far this season

December 17, 2022

SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball closes the nonconfernce portion of its 2022–23 schedule Monday when it hosts Lincoln University of California for a Monday (Dec. 19) matinée. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. as the opener of doubleheader action with the Otter men's team.

CSUMB (3–6 overall) is 3–1 in nonconference action this season with wins over Academy of Art, Holy Names University and Fresno Pacific. All three of those wins came on the road, however, so the Otters will be seeking their first Kelp Bed victory of the season Monday afternoon.

Lincoln University (2–9) is an unaffiliated program located in Oakland. The Oaks have played three NCAA Division II opponents this season, falling to Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State Dominguez Hills and Seattle Pacific.
