Men’s Basketball Notebook: Otters Open Series With S.F. State

Otter will host Gators Monday (Dec. 19) to open home-and-home series

SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball team begins a home-and-home series against CCAA travel partner San Francisco State with a Monday afternoon (Dec. 19) game in The Kelp Bed. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. as the nightcap of doubleheader action with the Otter women's team.

The teams will meet again Dec. 31 in San Francisco.

Both CSUMB (2–6 overall, 0–3 CCAA) and S.F. State (4–6, 0–4) are looking for their first CCAA win of the young season. The Otters will try to extend their winning streak over the Gators to three games after sweeping the season series in 2021–22.
