Otter Women's Basketball Notebook: at Sonoma/Humboldt

CSUMB heads up U.S. 101 to complete 7–game roadtrip

SEASIDE, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball heads up U.S. 101 to put the finishing touches on its 7–game, season–opening roadtrip when it travels to meet Sonoma State Thursday (Dec. 2) and Humboldt State Saturday (Dec. 4). Both games will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. as the openers of doubleheader action.

In their last outing, the Otters San Francisco State spring to a 17–4 lead to open the game. Despite a strong comeback attempt, the Gators were able to pull away in the fourth quarter to take a 64–55 decision in The Swamp. Freshman Frances Potts led the Otter offense with 13 points. Fellow freshmen Rayshanti McNeal Price and Sarah Shaw each grabbed seven rebounds.

CSUMB will play its first home game Thursday, Dec. 9 against Cal State San Marcos.

SONOMA STATE COVID RESTRICTIONS FOR FANS
Sonoma State basketball events will require fans to show proof of their fully-vaccinated status or a negative COVID-19 test administered by a healthcare professional from within 72 hours of the start of the event. For proof of vaccination, you will be asked to provide a photo ID that matches the name on either an original vaccination card (or photograph of it) or digital proof from the State of California's Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record website (visit https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov).
 
Accepted test for all ages include a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event or a negative antigen test conducted by a laboratory within 24 hours of the game.  For ages 3-11, a negative rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of the game is acceptable.
  
Additionally, all fans are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times, except when actively eating or drinking.

HUMBOLDT STATE COVID RESTRICTIONS FOR FANS
Humboldt State University requires all event attendees to show proof of vaccination or recent COVID-19 negative test (within 72 hours of arrival).  Proof means physical CDC Vaccination Card for COVID-19; a photo/screenshot of your vaccination card; State of California Digital COVID-19 Vaccination Record (visit https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov); a printout from any state health department or physician's office with your vaccination information stated clearly.


For proof of a negative test, use any photo/screenshot that shows the date of the test result and the date the test was taken, or a printout of an official email from a lab with the test results and testing date clearly printed.
