DENVER, Colo. -- The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team wrapped up its two-game trip to Colorado with a game against Regis University in which the Otters struggled to find an offensive advantage in a 0-4 shutout on Sunday afternoon.
CSUMB got 10 shots off to the Rangers' 22 as
Emmanuel Montion (Los Gatos HS) led the team with three shots.
Makenna Pendleton (Archbishop Mitty) complemented Montion with two shots, both of which were on target.

Jesus Ochoa (James C. Enochs HS) recorded seven saves in the loss and was one short of tying a career-high in saves (8).

THE GAME WAS OVER WHEN...Pedro Hernandez (Mount Diablo HS) took a shot at the 71:09 that went wide left. The Otters attempted two more shots in the game.
THE FINAL WORD... "We are a very young team that played against a Top 25 team in the country. This road trip will build a lot of character for our program moving forward."

THEY'VE GOT NEXT... Monterey Bay will begin CCAA competition a home next Friday, Sept. 15 against Sonoma State. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at the Otter sports Complex.
