KENFIELD, Calif. —
Brianna Tucker (San Jose, Calif.) led the Otters with a career-high 17 points, but it would not be enough as the Cal State Monterey Bay felt heartbreak at the hands of host Sonoma State on Saturday night at the College of Marin.
The Otters held a two point lead with 12 seconds remaining in regulation after
McKenna Hill (Ventura, Calif.) made 1-of-2 from the free throw line. SSU's Kylie Kiech grabbed the rebound and got it up court to Carly Gill who nailed a three pointer to give the Seawolves a one-point lead with 0.4 seconds remaining, handing CSUMB a 68-67 loss.
THE GAME WAS STATISTICALLY OVER WHEN… Sonoma State's Carly Gill sunk a three pointer and the hearts of the Otters with her shot that gave SSU the 68-67 lead with .4 seconds left
