THE LAST WORD… "I think their zone caused us to shoot too many outside shots. We lacked inside attack. Defensively we were weak in stretches that allowed them to make runs and we were not able to counter. We will look to clean up some of the things we didn't do well tonight for the conference opener on Friday." –
CSUMB Head Coach Kerri Nakamoto
THEY'VE GOT NEXT… Cal State Monterey Bay opens the CCAA season in the Kelp Bed on Friday (Dec. 2) against Bay Area foe, Cal State East Bay. Tip off is set for 5:30 p.m.
