CARSON, Calif. — The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team ended its four game road trip at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday afternoon.
The Otters were unable to find the back of the net for the fourth time in five games. CSUMB did record nine shots including three from
Alejandro Garcia (Oxnard College) and two from
Adam Voloder (Sydney, Australia).
CSUMB has yet to find its first conference win as they move to a 2-5-2, 0-4-2 CCAA record.
THE GAME WAS OVER WHEN... The Toros scored twice in the final 6:48 after already being up 2-0. The Otters had their final opportunity on a corner kick by Voloder at the 89:11 mark, but no shots came of it.
THE LAST WORD... It's tough to go down when you cant score. If we score the PK it's a differnt game but we didnt capitalize.
-Rob Cummings, Men's Soccer Head Coach
THEY'VE GOT NEXT... The Otters will finally return home for a two-game home stand beginning with Cal State San Marcos on Friday, October 7 at 3:00 p.m.
GO OTTERS!
