HONOLULU, HI --,The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team ended it's Hawaiian road trip on a high note with a 2–1 victory over Hawaii Pacific on Monday evening giving CSUMB it's best start since 2013.
 
Michael Maul (Danville, Calif./San Ramon Valley HS),notched his second goal of the season and proved to be the game winner in the 2–1 win. Rudy Gonzales (Bakersfield, Calif./Independence HS) also recorded his first goal of the season. Evan Drake (Sacramento, Calif./El Camino HS),saved a season–high seven balls. However, the defense did allow it's first goal of the season after posting shutouts in the previous two games.

The Otters are 3–0 heading into their first home game of the season. Monterey Bay will welcome Fresno Pacific to the Otter Sports Complex on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 4 pm.
