The Cal State Monterey Bay Women's Soccer team kicked off the 2015 season with a convincing 4-2 win over Notre Dame de Namur on Thursday afternoon in Belmont, Calif. 

Kristen Womack (Roseville, Calif./Woodcreek HS) found the back of the net twice securing a tie atop the career scoring (11) and career points (29) lists. Her five points in the game is also second all-time for points in a game.
Newcomer Seana Saladrigas (Chandler, Ariz./Chandler-Gilber CC) and Sierra Townsend (Glendora, Calif./St. Lucy's Priory) chipped in one goal each while Victoria Whyte (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis High School) made two saves.

CSUMB begins the season 1–0. The Otters will play in their home opener on Saturday when they take on Holy Names at 12:30 pm.
