HAYWARD, Calif. -- The Cal State Monterey Bay Women's Soccer team played under the lights against Cal State East Bay to open the CCAA schedule on Friday night.

The Otters did not get the result that they had hoped for as the Pioneers scored with 12 seconds remaining, in the first half netting the only goal of the game, sending the Otters home with a 1–0 loss.

Kacy Falk (Prather, Calif./Sierra HS) led the Otters with two shots while goalkeeper Victoria Whyte (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis High School) had seven saves on the night.

Monterey Bay falls to 2–4, 0–1 CCAA and will attempt to bounce back on Sunday against Stanislaus State. Kick off is set for 2:00 p.m. with LIVE STATS and LIVE VIDEO. Follow live updates by following @CSUMBSoccer on Twitter.
