SEASIDE, Calif. -- Otter fans will have to wait until Feb. 21 to see the 2014 home openers. The home opener against
Holy Names University, originally scheduled for Feb. 8 then pushed back to Monday (Feb. 10) has been cancelled due to concerns over missed class time.
The Otters may make the games up -- whether against Holy Names or another opponent -- at a date to be determined.
The new CSUMB home openers will take place against defending CCAA champion Humboldt State Friday, Feb. 21 with first pitch scheduled for Noon.
The Otters return to action Friday afternoon when they kick off their CCAA campaign with a doubleheader at Sonoma State. First pitch is scheduled for noon. Live stats will be available online at
