ARCATA, Calif. — After failing to score more than one run in an inning for 40 consecutive innings, the Cal State Monterey Bay softball team exploded for nine runs in the sixth inning of game two Saturday at Humboldt State. But the Humboldt State offense exploded for 19 runs of its own in the doubleheader, including four in the bottom of the seventh in the nightcap to rally for a 9–1, 10–9 sweep of the Otters.
