SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team remains on top of the CCAA North Division with a 5-3-2 conference record after accumulating a win and a tie on its two-game road trip last weekend.
With 17 points, the Otters have a three-point lead over second place Sonoma State with six games remaining in the regular season.
The Otters settled for a 3-3 tie at Sonoma State on Friday, Oct. 11 before traveling to Arcata to record a 3-1 victory over Humboldt State on Sunday, Oct. 13. Junior
Max Madrigal (Oxnard HS) nabbed seven points on the weekend after tallying three goals and assist.
CSUMB returns to the Otter Sports Complex this weekend, hosting Cal State Stanislaus on Friday (12:30 p.m.) and Cal State East Bay on Sunday (11:30 a.m.).
