BOX SCORE CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team held onto an early 1-0 lead to shutout the Cal State Dominguez Toros Friday night. In eight meetings, this marks CSUMB's first victory over the Toros.
"Another good win for the program tonight," said Head Coach
Erin Reinke. "The team fought hard for 90 minutes together. The defense was solid in the back and our attack more dangerous in the final third. We are looking to put two good games together in one weekend."

Diana Zambrano (La Puente, Calif./Mt. SAC) matched her career-high with seven saves for her first shutout in her career.
The Otters offense was in full force with the referee calling seven offsides. CSUDH outshot CSUMB 14-10 (7-6 on goal).
The Otters trek 20 miles north to Cal State L.A. on Sunday, Sept. 23 for a showdown against the Golden Eagles. Kickoff is 2 p.m.
