SCOUTING CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO:  The Coyotes dropped both games last weekend, falling 2-0 to Chico State and 3-1 to Cal State Stanislaus on CSUSB's senior day. CSUSB is 0-3 against teams from the North Division. Key Players: Jani Carmona-Urbano (7G, 3A, 52S); Kelly Keyes (2G, 2A, 6S).

SERIES RECORD:  The Coyotes hold a 6-0-1 lead in the all-time series. CSUMB earned a 3-3 tie in 2006 at San Bernardino.

SCOUTING UC SAN DIEGO:  Despite losing only 1-0 to No. 8 Cal State Stanislaus, the Tritons dropped out of the Top 25 after a 12th ranking the week earlier.  UCSD leads the South Division with 29 points. Key Players: Cassie Callahan (7G, 6A, 36S), Izzy Pozurama (6G, 16SOG); Kelcie Brodsky (11W, 62 Saves, 7 Shutouts).

SERIES RECORD:  The Otters are still looking for their first win against the Tritons,  sporting an 0-7 all-time series. The Otters dropped 2-1 decisions in both 2006 and 2008.

SENIOR DAY:  Prior to Sunday's 2 p.m. start against UC San Diego, CSUMB will have a short presentation to honor its seven seniors: F Lindey Gatlin, GK Diana Zambrano (La Puente, Calif./Mt. SAC), MF Andrea Davis, D Brianna Baszak, F Korie Soares, MF Lacey Atkinson and MF Gabriella Bozzo.

HUMBOLDT STATE: Due to violating hazing rules, Humboldt State will not be eligible to compete in CCAA tournament. All games played against HSU will not count in the CCAA standings.

BEST SEASON EVER:  The Otters have already made huge strides in 2012, earning the most wins (8) and conference wins (6) in program history.  With the Oct. 7th's 1-0 victory over Chico State, CSUMB completed its first season sweep against an opponent since making the move to NCAA Division II (2004-05).  The 2012 Otters have also secured top spots in the program records in game-winning goals (8), assists (16), assists per game (1.07), shots on goal per game (5.47) and shots per game (11.00).

ANOTHER PROGRAM RECORD ON HORIZON:  The young squad has their eyes on adding to their accomplishments this season, needing only one more home victory to surpass the program record of three.

OFFENSE BREAKDOWN:  The 2012 Otter offense continues to make an impact in the program record books. Senior Andrea Davis' goal in the 89th minute at Cal State East Bay added to her No. 1 ranking in game-winning goals in a season (4) and career (5).

SHUTOUT QUEEN:  Senior keeper Diana Zambrano (La Puente, Calif./Mt. SAC) has made her mark on the program, reaching the top in wins and shutouts. She has accumulated six wins in her career at CSUMB, five this season.  Zambrano has also racked up four shutout to set the bar in the career and season records.

NOT SETTLING FOR A DRAW:  If both games this weekend do not result in a tie, it will be CSUMB's third consecutive season without a match ending in a draw. The Otter's last tie came against Humboldt State on Oct. 18, 2009 with neither team scoring, sparking a four-game extra-time streak.

FIRST NCAA RANKING: CSUMB made its debut in the first official NCAA Division II Regional Poll on Oct. 17, sliding into the 10th spot. Click here for the release
