Yet they have only been shutout twice, from the hands of two nationally ranked teams (Sonoma State and Cal State Stanislaus) Key Players: Maddi Null (3G, 12S); Colette Behen (2G, 1A, 18S)

SERIES RECORD:  The Lumberjacks hold the all-time series lead at a 7-4-1, but CSUMB has earned victories twice in the last three outings. The 2011 series was split with each team being victorious on the road by 1-0 results.

SCOUTING SONOMA STATE:  The Seawolves have won all but two games this season.  They dropped a 4-1 decision to then No. 21 Cal State Stanislaus and tied with then No. 17 UC San Diego last weekend. Sonoma has moved up and down the national rankings this season, reaching as high as No. 2 (Sept. 18). Key Players: Cara Curtin (10G, 4A, 20SOG); Sara Studer (4G, 4A, 24S).

SERIES RECORD:  With a commanding 12-0-3 all-time series lead, the Seawolves have shutout the Otters in their last six meetings. The Otters drew a 2-2 tie at Sonoma on Sept. 27, 2009.

UP NEXT: The Otters venture north for their final road trip, traveling to San Francisco State (Oct. 19) and Cal State East Bay (Oct. 21).

HUMBOLDT STATE: Due to violating hazing rules, Humboldt State will not be eligible to compete in CCAA tournament. All games played against HSU will not count in the CCAA standings.

SHUTOUT QUEEN:  In only her seventh start, senior Diana Zambrano earned her third shutout on Sunday with the 1-0 victory over Chico State.  Three weekends ago, Zambrano notched back-to-back shutouts at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. Zambrano has tied the single season and career record for shutouts, moving in beside previous keeper, now midfielder Andrea Davis

REGIONAL RANKINGS:  The Otters continue to make huge strides in 2012, earning their first ever spot in the NSCAA West Regional Rankings the week of Sept. 25. The Otters debut in the No. 8 spot after shutting out Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A.

BEST SEASON EVER:  The Otters have already made huge strides in 2012, earning the most wins (6) and conference wins (4) in program history.  With Sunday's 1-0 victory over Chico State, CSUMB completed its first season sweep against an oppenent since making the move to NCAA Division II (2004-05).
