CSUMB (11-1 overall, 8-0 CCAA) won its 14th consecutive CCAA game and its ninth in a row overall to set up a first place showdown with No. 2 UC San Diego (15-0, 9-0) Saturday night in La Jolla.
Junior forward

Britnee Lewis (Antioch/Pittsburg HS) came off the bench to add a career-high five assists.
The Otters never trailed Friday, but didn't put the Coyotes away until late. They opened their first double-digit lead at 16-6 midway through the first half and still led by nine, 31-22, at the break.
But San Bernardino (4-9, 3-6) cut into the lead by scoring 16 second chance points off 13 offensive rebounds in the second half. The Coyotes got as close as 40-38 on a Shayna Stuart putback with 10:30 remaining before the Otters eased away. CSUMB finally got the lead back to double digits at 55-44 on an
Erika Ward (Simi Valley/Royal HS) three-pointer and the Coyotes never got closer than eight for the duration.
