PHOENIX – The Cal State Monterey Bay's offense came to a screeching halt as the Otters dropped their final two games of the Grand Canyon Tournament. The Otters were shut out 10-0 to No. 16 Grand Canyon before falling 5-4 to Midwestern State in the tournament closer.
Junior
Jamie Moon led CSUMB with three hits and two runs for the day. Seniors
Shannon Bailey,
Channing Peebles and
Shae Olds each added two hits.
The Otters begin conference play next weekend, traveling to Cal State San Bernardino on Friday for a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
