HAYWARD, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay dropped a twinbill to Cal State East Bay on Saturday afternoon. The final scores were 11-10 and 5-4.

The Otters will look to get back on track on Sunday, Feb. 27 with another doubleheader against the Pioneers.

Game 1: CSUEB 11, CSUMB 10 (9 innings)

Almost hitting the four hour mark, the opening game had a total of 24 hits with 14 by the Otters. There were seven lead changes and three ties. 

Junior #Jackie Serna# blasted two home runs for a total of five runs batted in.  Senior #Shae Olds# went 4-for-4 with a double.

Game 2: CSUEB 5, CSUMB 4

The Otters found themselves trailing 1-0 after two innings before posting three runs on Olds' double that cleared the bases.

CSUMB saw its lead disappear once again after the Pioneers scored a single run in the fourth followed by three runs in the fifth.  The Otters notched one run in their side of the fifth on another double by Olds.
