SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — After scoring six goals in its first four matches of 2011, the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team continued looking for its offensive footing Sunday in a 4–0 loss to Cal State San Bernardino at Coyote Premier Field.

The Otters (2–7–0, 1–7–0 CCAA) put five of their seven shots on frame but couldn't find the back of the net for the fourth consecutive game. CSUMB hasn't scored since a 1–0 win at Humboldt State on Sept. 16.

San Bernardino (4–5–1, 2–5–1), meanwhile, put 11 of its 20 shots on frame. Junior goalkeeper Diana Zambrano (La Puente/Mt. SAC) made a season–high seven saves for the Otters, but it wasn't enough on this day.

The first half played fairly even until the final 10 minutes, when the Coyotes got goals two minutes apart from Jasmine Bell and Diana Enriquez. San Bernardino added a pair of goals late in the second half to account for the final margin.

The Otters will try to get back on track Friday afternoon when they host a Cal Poly Pomona team ranked fifth in last week's NSCAA West Region rankings. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m. as the second match of a men's/women's doubleheader
