CSUMB dominated in the second half, extending its lead to 50-28 on a jumper by freshman #Jenna Bandy# followed by junior #Michelle Santizo#'s free throw with nine minutes remaining.

The Coyotes were led by Sabrina Gonzalez's 15 points and Danielle Shows' seven rebounds.

For the eleventh time this year, CSUMB out-rebounded their opponents by finishing with a 36-29 advantage over the Coyotes.  The Otters shot 40 percent from the field while showing why they are No. 1 in the country in defense by holding CSUSB to 26.8 percent.

The Otters are one win shy of tying their single season win record.

CSUMB makes the trip to Cal State East Bay on Thursday, Feb. 3 for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.  The Pioneers are one game out of last place in the CCAA standings with a 2-12 conference record.
