SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team fell 4-0 to the San Jose State Spartans on Friday night at Spartan Stadium.
"The team played very spirited," said head coach #Artie Cairel#. "Set pieces were unkind to us tonight , but we were able to create changes which was very promising given only one senior on the field for much of the game. We feel good about our organization and commitment to each other which was a major objective of the game."
"We feel the game against a Division I team was perfect for us in identifying our areas to work on for a successful CCAA season," Cairel said. "Although we lost the game, we improved tonight and left with our heads high."
