CARSON, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team saw its 1-0 first half lead slip away as the Otters fell to the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros 2-1 at the Home Depot Center on Friday night.
Freshman #Natalie Argueta# scored her first collegiate goal on a breakaway in the 36th minute to give the Otters a 1-0 advantage at the break. Sophomore #Marlina Massagli# was rewarded the assist. The Otters outshot the Toros 5-4 in the first half.
The Toros came out strong in the second half, with goals by Jessica Murphy and Taylor Canatsey.
The Otters continue their road trip on Sunday, playing No. 7 Cal State L.A. at 2 p.m.
