SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Chico State Wildcats in its opening game of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) season on Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats scored in the 11th minute on Ashley Perlman's shot off the lower left post . Chico cushioned its lead in the 27th minute when Lisa Webster dribbled through the CSUMB defense and launched the ball off the left post.
#Marlina Massagli#, #Madisen Hasenauer# and #A.J. Cibulsky# each recorded shots for the Otters.
CSUMB returns to the field on Sunday, Sept. 12 to host Cal State Stanislaus at 11:30 a.m.
