SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball team pulled out a 75-72 victory over UC San Diego on Friday night at the Kelp Bed.
Sophomore #Davion Berry# led the Otters with 22 points, eight assists and three steals. Senior #Ian Hosford# added 18 points. Junior #Andrew Castro# and Hosford both had two blocked shots apiece.
UCSD's Ryan Peters recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
The Otters held a 36-23 lead at the haltime break after shooting 46.7 percent from the field while holding the Tritons just six field goals.
CSUMB welcomes Cal State East Bay to the Kelp Bed on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
