SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 4-0 to the Sonoma State Seawolves in its final game of the 2010 season.
The Otters conclude the season with a 3-15 overall record and 2-15 California Collegaite Athletic Association (CCAA) record.
Sonoma State scored twice in the opening half, first getting on the board in the 21st minute on Allison Kern's header to far post after a cross from Sara Struder. Sixteen minutes later, Taylor Colcacion repeated the same sequence but Allie Maduell was the set-up player.
Colacion notched her second goal of the game in the 60th minute on a rebound from Studer's shot off the cross bar.
The Otters best chance to score came in the 71st minute on freshman #Sherene Thompson#'s shot that went wide.
The Seawolves scored their final goal in the 83rd minute when Jaci Davey took a pass from Kern and crushed it to the left corner of the goal.
Sophomore #Andrea Davis# snagged four saves as the Otters were outshot 12-2.
