ARCATA, Calif. - The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 2-1 to the Lumberjacks of Humboldt State on Sunday afternoon.
The Lumberjacks jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with two goals in the second minute of the game. Sarah Nakamoto and Kim Carroll were credited with the goals.
CSUMB got on the board in the 43rd minute when sophomore #Jackie Malone# headed the ball over HSU's goalkeeper on a throw-in by #A.J. Cibulsky#.
Neither team scored in the second half.
CSUMB and HSU were equal in shots with 11 each.
The Otters travel to Cal Poly Pomona on Friday, Oct 8 for a 3 p.m. kick-off.
