ARCATA, Calif. - Junior #Beau Villanueva#'s goal in the 87th minute prevented a shutout as the Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Humboldt State on Friday afternoon.
The Lumberjacks took a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute on Josh Sugg's goal.
Eight minutes into the second half, HSU added another insurance goal off the foot of Quinton Aquilar.
The Otters rallied back when Villenueva took a pass from sophomore #Max Brixey# and flipped it over HSU's goalkeeper.
CSUMB had a slight advantage on shots on goal, 5-4.
The Otters continue their road trip next Friday at Cal Poly Pomona at 12:30 p.m.
