CHICO, Calif. – Junior #Bekah Luna# racked up her first collegiate goal in today's match-up against Chico State, but it was not enough as the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 4-2 to the Wildcats.

The Otters got on the board first when sophomore #Marlina Massagli# scored on a penalty kick in the 17th minute after a hand ball was called within the box.

Chico State's Lisa Webster equalizer came in the 23rd minute, taking a tied score into the halftime break.

The Wildcats scored two goals, from Molly Downtain and Jennie Barto, in less than a minute to take their first lead of the game. Barto added another goal in the 75th minute to make it 4-1.

Luna notched her goal  in the 76th minute. #Sherene Thompson#'s pass sailed over the Wildcat defense and Luna tapped it across the goal line.

Sophomore #Graciela Holguin# recorded seven saves as the Otters were outshot 14-9 by the Wildcats.

CSUMB returns home for its season's finale weekend, hosting Humboldt State on Friday, Oct. 29 and Sonoma State on Sunday, Oct. 31.
