TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer fell 3-1 to Cal State Stanislaus on Friday early evening at Warrior Stadium.
The Warriors held a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
Junior #Mucho Pefok# scored his first goal of the year, a header to close the gap to 2-1 in the 78th minute.
In less than a minute later, the Otters accidently knocked in an own goal to make the game 3-1.
CSUMB was outshot 15-8, but had more corner kick attempts, 6-3.
Freshman #Sasha Eyre# got his first start of the season, finishing with two saves.
The Otters travel to No. 21 Chico State on Sunday, Oct. 24 for a 2 p.m. game.
