SEASIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Monerey Bay women's soccer team fell 3-1 to the Gators of San Francisco State on Friday afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex.
The Gators held a 2-0 lead at the halftime break with goals coming from Michelle Spinner and Nicole Vanni.
SF State opened the second half with its third goal, coming in the 47th minute. Myriah Johnson took a cross from Sara Ordaz and finished it in the center of the net.
The Otters got on the board in the 88th minute when #Shoshana Wangerin# chipped the ball over SF State's goalkeeper. #Beth Ramsey# received the assist.
CSUMB was outshot 11-3.
The Otters travel up to SF State for a rematch on Sunday, Oct. 17 with a 11:30 a.m. kickoff.
