SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team fell 3-1 on Sunday afternoon to No. 8 Cal State San Bernardino in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action.
The Coyotes took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute on a goal by Demetri Burgos.
The Otters tied the game only five minutes later on sophomore #Max Brixey#'s header from a pass by freshman #Jon Decker#.
CSUSB's Albert Cabrera scored back-to-back goals in the 36th and 41st minutes to give the Coyotes the 3-1 victory.
Junior #Sam Campanelli# finished with eight saves as CSUMB was outshot 20-6.
CSUMB returns home on Friday, October 15 to welcome San Francisco State to the Otter Soccer Complex. Kickoff is 3 p.m.
