MEN'S BASKETBALL
OPENING TIP: The Otters look to kickoff the second part of the CCAA season with a new determination after dropping four of their eight conference losses by a total of six points. CSUMB travels to Chico State on Friday, Jan 29, before heading east for a match-up against Cal State Stanislaus on Saturday, Jan. 30.

EARLIER SERIES: The Otters opened their conference season with a 73-67 overtime victory over Stanislaus on Dec. 4 with freshman
Davion Berry scoring a game-high 17 points. CSUMB followed the win with a heartbreaker, falling to Chico State, 74-73, on a time-running down layup.
CCAA STAT RANKINGS: Against conference opponents, the Otters are second in steals (7.8) while third in free throw percentage (72.6) and defensive rebounds (24.2). PREVIOUS OUTING: After a heartbreaking loss to Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Jan. 22, the Otters rebounded by knocking off first place Cal Poly Pomona, 60-54, on Saturday, Jan. 23.

THE WARRIORS: Cal State Stanislaus (4-1, 3-8 CCAA) pulled off a 62-59 victory over Cal State L.A. on Saturday, Jan. 23. Players to Watch: Katie Busi (15.7 ppg, 11.7 rpg); Alishea Kelly (15.4 ppg, 6.7 rpg); Andreanna Marshall (8.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg).
WOMEN'S WATER POLO
UPCOMING GAMES: CSUMB competes in the NorCal Tournament hosted by Cal in Berkeley. The Otters take on three top 10 team including No. 1 Stanford.
PREVIOUS WEEKEND: CSUMB split in its opening weekend of the 2010 season, falling to Azusa Pacific, 9-8, before rebounding with an 11-8 victory over host Fresno Pacific. Junior #Chloe McRae# led the Otters with four goals while senior #Heather Penna# notched three goals. Senior goalkeeper #Sarah Ford# nabbed 15 saves in the two games.
