SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer began the home schedule strong with a 2-0 shutout over the Notre Dame de Namur Argonauts on Tuesday afternoon.
The Otter improve to 1-2-1 overall and NDNU drops to 0-3.
Senior #Sarah Alderson# put the Otters on the board in the 34th minute on a pass by Korie Lee Soares.
Senior #Alyssa Matheson# scored an insurance goal in the 72nd minute in a scramble in front of goal.
The Otters outshot the Argonauts, 10-6.
CSUMB begins conference play on Friday, Sept. 11 against Cal State East Bay in Hayward. Kickoff is 12:30 p.m.
