UP NEXT: Following the holiday weekend, the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team  welcomes Notre Dame de Namur on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for its first home game of the 2009 season. Both soccer teams will begin CCAA play on Friday, Sept. 11, when they travel to Hayward to take on new conference opponent Cal State East Bay. The squads head south to compete against UC San Diego on Sunday, Sept. 13.

THE SERIES WITH THE ARGONAUTS: CSUMB 1-3-1 against Notre Dame de Namur since moving to NCAA Division II. In their last meeting, the Otters fell 2-1 after the Argonauts scored a goal in the last three minutes of regulation. 

THE SERIES WITH THE PIONEERS: The Otters lone match-up against Cal State East Bay occurred on Sept. 20, 2006 that resulted in a double-overtime 4-3 Pioneer victory.

THE SERIES WITH THE TRITONS: CSUMB is in search of its first victory against the Tritons.  The Otters last meeting to then No. 3 UC San Diego was on Sunday, Sept. 14 that resulted in a 2-1 final score.

LOOKING AHEAD: The soccer squads continue their conference schedule, hosting Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday, Sept. 18, and Sunday, Sept. 20, respectively.
