UP NEXT: After a week off, the Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer teams hosts its home opener against Seattle Pacific University on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Both soccer teams will begin CCAA play on Friday, Sept. 11, when they travel to Hayward to take on new conference opponent Cal State East Bay. The squads head south to compete against UC San Diego on Sunday, Sept 13.

THE SERIES WITH THE FALCONS: CSUMB is 0-2-1 against Seattle Pacific all-time.  The last meeting between the two teams resulted in a scoreless double overtime tie in the 2008 season opener on Aug. 28.

THE SERIES WITH THE PIONEERS: CSUMB leads the series 1-0-1 after closing out the 2008 season with a 1-0 victory against Cal State East Bay on Nov. 2.

THE SERIES WITH THE TRITONS: The teams have split their meetings, 2-2-1, with their most recent resulting in a 2-1 UC San Diego win on Sept. 14, 2008.

LOOKING AHEAD: The soccer squads continue their conference schedule, hosting Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday, Sept. 18, and Sunday, Sept. 20, respectively.
