Fall Sports Game Notes No. 6

UP NEXT:  The Otters take on the Chico State Wildcats on Friday, Oct. 2 and then travel west to Turlock to compete against Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 4. 

PAST WEEKEND: The Otters recorded their second tie of the season (1-1) against Humboldt State on Sept. 25. CSUMB was shutout 4-0 on Sunday Sept. 27 by No. 8 Sonoma State.

THE WILDCATS: CSUMB holds a 4-3 all-time record edge over Chico State with a 2-1 victory in its last meeting (Oct. 17). The Wildcats are on top of the CCAA Northern Division leaderboard with a 4-1-2 conference record.  Their lone loss came against No. 2 Cal State L.A. on Sept. 25.

THE WARRIORS:  In six years, the Otters hold a 3-3-2 record against Cal State Stanislaus with the last outing resulting in a 1-0 shutout victory on Oct. 19, 2008.

LOOKING AHEAD: The Otters return home for a six-game homestand, opening against non-conference opponent BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.
