SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay Otters dropped a 2-0 decision to Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex.
Tyler Petry scored the first goal for CSUDH in the 18th minute by flipping the ball over the CSUMB goalie for the goal.
#Beau Villanueva#'s shot in the 55th minute was reflected over the goal by CSUDH's goalie. First shot on goal for the Otters. #Eric Alsop# and #Nate Torricelli# each recorded shots on goal within the next ten minutes.
Marco Pulido scored an insurance goal for the Toros on a free kick to the left corner.
The CSUDH defense held the Otters to five shots while racking up 19 in the two halves.
CSUMB (1-5-1, 1-2-1 CCAA ) takes the field again Friday, Sept. 25, when the Otters travel to Arcata to take on Humboldt State at 3 p.m.
