SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 23 Cal State L.A. on Friday afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex.
The Eagles (6-1, 3-1 CCAA) first two goals were scored by Alex Conley with both assists going to Liz Franco.
CSULA struck again in the final five minutes of regulation. Jennifer Schafer's pass set-up Stacy Rodwell to find the back of the net to give the Eagles a 3-0 victory.
Otter goalkeeper #Andrea Davis# racked up six saves as the Eagles outshot CSUMB, 13-2.
Freshmen #Marlina Massagli# and #Korie Soares# both recorded shots for the Otters.
CSUMB (2-4, 1-3 CCAA) closes out its first conference homestand on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
