Box Score

SEASIDE, Calif. –Senior #Arron Thomas# scored two second-half goals to take the Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer game into overtime to Cal State San Bernardino before falling 3-2 at the Otter Soccer Complex.

The Coyotes got on the board in the ninth minute on a goal by senior Daniel Rodriguez and extended their lead in the 27th minute on junior Albert Cabrera's eight goal of the season.

After being down 2-0 at halftime, senior #Eric Alsop# sent a long cross that was redirected off sophomore #Beau Villanueva#'s head to set up Thomas on the right side in the 68th minute. Thomas's second goal came off a direct kick with freshman #Max Brixey# recording the assist. 

CSUSB's Obi Agwu scored the match-deciding goal in the third minute of overtime.

Senior #Brenden Baca# made three saves with the Otters being outshot 14-5.  There were 44 fouls called in the match.

CSUMB hosts Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2:00 p.m.
