TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell to the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors 3-0 on Saturday.  The loss drops the Otters to 2-8-2 overall and 1-6-1 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action and the Warriors improved to 7-6, 3-6 in the CCAA.

Cal State Stanislaus got on the board just 62 seconds after the first whistle was blown, when Lisa Garcia's shot found the back of net.

The Warriors added another goal in the 20th minute.  Junior college transfer #Makayla Whitney#'s sister, Apryl, who is a freshman at Cal State Stanislaus, scored on a pass from Jade Adamson.

Bernadette Bettencourt notched the Warriors their last goal of the day just 13 seconds into the second half to put Stanislaus up 3-0.

Senior #Sarah Alderson#, junior #Jessica Pardo# and sophomore #Becky Gruener# each recorded shots for the Otters.

The Otters return to their home field on Friday, Oct. 9, hosting Cal State San Bernardino at 12:30 p.m.
