SEASIDE, Calif. –  The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to the Warriors of Cal State Stanislaus on Friday afternoon at Otter Soccer Complex.

After a scoreless first half, the visitors got on the board in the 55th minute when Luis Guzman scored on a penalty kick after CSUMB was called on a handball foul in the box.

Less than six minutes later, the Otters were awarded a penalty kick after a Stanislaus foul in the box.  Senior #Nate Torricelli# recorded his third PK goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1.

The Warriors' Victor Regalado scored the final goal of the game with only four minutes remaining in regulation.  

The Otters were outshot 16-13 by Stanislaus with senior #Brenden Baca# collecting six saves.

The Otters return to the field for the final time in 2009 on Sunday, Nov. 1 when they host Chico State at 11:30 a.m. CSUMB will honor the following nine seniors prior to the game, #Brenden Baca#, #Arron Thomas#, #Mario Khoury#, #Sean Kwasnicki#, #Eric Alsop#, #Randall Rigali#, #Kevin Proschold#, #Riley Johns# and #Nate Torricelli#.
