CHICO, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team fell, 63-43, to Chico State on Saturday at Acker Gym.
CSUMB drops to 9-9 overall and 4-8 in CCAA action.
Senior #Dana Andrews# led the Otters with 18 points. Juniors #Helen Suarez# and #Denelle Baker# added six points apiece. Junior #Janet Oseguera# pulled down a team-high six rebounds.
The Wildcats held a 26-19 lead at the break.
Chico State outrebounded the Otters, 45-24.
The Otters finally return home next Friday, Feb. 5, to welcome Humboldt State to the Otter Sports Center. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.
