SEASIDE, Calif. – In a non-conference match against Notre Dame de Namur, the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 2-1 Tuesday night in Belmont, Calif. The Otters move to 0-2 on the young season.
The game was 0-0 after a hard fought first half in which freshman goalkeeper #Graciela Holguin# had three saves. At the beginning of the second half, freshman Sarah Biser put the Argos up 1-0 off a pass by K.C O'Shea.
The Otters even the score in the 79th minute when junior midfielder #Sarah Alderson# headed a corner kick from junior forward #Krysta Vukas#.
With three minutes left in the game, NDNU's Sally Olsson connected on a lob pass from Andrea Harmening to give the Argos a 2-1 victory.
The Otters host Seattle Pacific on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Otter Sports Field. Kick-off is at 12:30 p.m.
