SEASIDE, Calif. – Junior #Grant Robson#'s goal three minutes into overtime propelled the Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Cal State Stanislaus this afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex. The Otters registered their first CCAA victory of the season (1-4-3, 1-2-2 CCAA) as the Warriors dropped to 1-5 (0-4 CCAA).
The Otters took a 1-0 lead at the 18:37 mark. Junior #Nate Torricelli# fired the ball home from close range on a cross by freshman #Beau Villanueva#.
Less than a minute into the second half, the Warriors tied the game with a goal by freshman Andrew Ruiz. The assist went to senior Matthew Johnson.
