ARCATA, Calif. – In their first California Conference Athletic Association road game, the Cal State Monterey women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Humboldt State University tonight in Arcata, Calif.
Allison Lawrence scored the first goal for the Jacks at the 62-minute mark on a pass by sophomore forward Kim Carroll. With two minutes left in the game, Carroll notched her third goal of the season to give HSU a 2-0 win.
Junior forward #Sarah Alderson# led the Otters with three shots on goal and seven total shots.
Freshman #Stephanie Husted#, who replaced injured starter #Graciela Holguin# 30 minutes into the game, finished with four saves.
The Otters continue their two-game road trip on Sunday at Sonoma State University. Kick-off is at 11:30 a.m.
