CARSON, Calif. --- #Dana Andrews# scored 41 points to lead the Cal State Monterey women's basketball team to a 84-70 victory Friday night against CSU Dominguez Hills, snapping a 15-game losing streak for the Otters.
Andrews dominated the game, shooting 9-13 and 7-9 from the three-point line. She sank 16 of 20 free throws and had five rebounds, an assist and steal as well. Point guard #Alma Lopez# scored 20 and made three assists. #Krista Herr#, CSUMB's all-time leading rebounder, grabbed nine more.
CSUMB (3-21 overall, 2-15 in the CCAA) led CSUDH (12-12, 6-11) 40-32 at half. Andrews had 23 of those, shooting 5-6 from the three-point line and 8 of 9 free throws.
