ARCATA, Calif. --- Humboldt State University dominated the Cal State Monterey Bay women's team Friday night, winning 85-54 with five players scoring in double figures.
The Lumberjacks shot 12 of 24 from the three-point line compared to just 4 of 14 for the visiting Otters. HSU also outrebounded CSUMB 44-30. HSU's Jennifer Enos scored 16 to lead all scorers, but 10 different Lumberjacks scored. #Brittany Kikuchi# and #Dana Andrews# led the Otters with 10 points each.
The Lumberjacks led 43-20 by halftime and CSUMB was never able to close that gap. The Lumberjacks had 19 assists as a team, compared to eight for the Otters. #Krista Herr#'s four rebounds was a team high for the Otters. Katie Francie grabbed nine boards for HSU.
The loss drops the Otters' record to 2-20 overall and 1-13 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. HSU improved to 12-10 and 8-7. The Otters stay on the road and play Sonoma State Saturday night.
